Responsibilities

• Implemented and monitored the regulatory oversight process among the entities.
• Represented and potential risks or opportunities are anticipated through participation in external guidance or professional networks or ad hoc studies with stakeholders.
• Organizational, technical, normative and regulatory developments that could have an impact on risks are detected and analyzed, and action plans are implemented.
• Expertise is provided to sites and entities in the area in carrying out risk analyses, including through SE advice when requested on projects.
• In charge of climate adaptation, specifically manages physical climate risks.
• Applies the methods and tools of his/her field.
• Ensures local technical and regulatory monitoring on the subject.
• It assesses adaptation needs, triggers actions when necessary, and then monitors the progress of actions to control physical climate risks.
• Evaluates the relevance and adequacy to the Group policy of the adaptation solutions proposed (e.g. compliance with the golden rules, avoiding maladaptation) and their performance.
• Advances the 'climate change adaptation' culture in his/her entity and assists in the identification of skills needs in his/her entity.
• Carry out the necessary communications and reporting.
• Working methods and tools are defined and implemented to ensure risk management, compliance and Environment domain performance.
• Good practices and lessons learned from events (accidents, experiences, anomalies) are capitalized on and are the subject of possible cross-functional actions.
• A mapping of Environment domain risks is regularly updated and the level of control of these risks is at the expected level.
• The indicators are reliable, representative and communicated in a timely manner.
• Participation in inter-zone networks and the coordination of intra-zone networks ensure the coherence of actions and support the Group's SE performance.
• The contribution to the SE communication plan of the zone is ensured.
• Management review (SMEP), Audits and internal control tests are carried out in the entities of the zone and allow a relevant analysis of the performance.
• Technical support is provided to the field staff to enable them to develop their skills (training module, coaching, mentoring). The certification process is implemented when it exists.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Environment Engineer / Science, Occupational Health & Safety or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental management and safety management system
• Knowledge of environmental impact assessment (EIA) and data visualization
• Candidates to be fully fluent in Thai and good communication in English
