About this position
The Warranty Specialist is responsible for managing warranty claims, improving warranty processes, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer policies.
Responsibilities
• Assesses and submits warranty claims to manufacturer and reconciles accordingly.
• Develop, oversee and continually improve the warranty administration processes of the dealer.
• Conduct warranty audit to the dealer.
• Support and train dealers in warranty service process.
• Communicate Peugeot & Jeep Warranty Policies and Procedures to all dealers and updated annually.
• Develop and circulate information, recalls and literature for new warranty regulations introduced by manufacturer.
• Investigate and query unsettled claims and follow up on payment of outstanding claims with manufacturer.
• Resubmits all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off.
• Provide feedback to everyone concerned about why claims are returned.
• Conduct warranty audit to the dealer and arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or to be scrapped.
• Report result of every dealer warranty audit.
• Support new dealer set-up in all topics relevant to warranty.
• Ensure compliance of the dealers to the Peugeot & Jeep aftersales standards.
• Prepare the paid claims list and inform to all dealers.
• Verify monthly Warranty Global concern report and control warranty expenses.
Requirements
