About this position

The Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining systems to ensure optimal performance and scalability, utilizing advanced technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Platform Expertise: Strong understanding of managing and optimizing streaming platforms and Oracle Web/App Servers, with experience in ELK Stack considered a plus
• DevOps Skills: Hands-on experience with automation and efficiency tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
• Cloud Knowledge: Proficiency in designing and managing infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, OCI, or Azure
• Problem-Solving Ability: Effective analytical skills to troubleshoot and maintain system stability
• Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or IT-related fields
• New Graduates Welcome: No prior experience required

Requirements

• Platform Tools Proficiency: Expertise in Apache Kafka, Confluent, Oracle Web/App Servers, and ELK Stack, with the flexibility to learn new technologies like Prometheus and Grafana
• DevOps Proficiency: Skilled in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), with strong monitoring capabilities
• Cloud Platforms: In-depth knowledge of AWS, GCP, OCI, or Azure, with the ability to design appropriate solutions
• Scripting & Automation: Competency in writing scripts or code (Python, Bash) that not only enhance automation but also provide a structured view of the system, enabling efficient and practical application in real-world scenarios
