About this position

The Data Operation Engineer position is suitable for fresh graduates and involves managing pipeline operations, monitoring system status, and ensuring effective communication regarding operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the day-to-day management of pipeline operations activities.
• Monitor system status and troubleshoot any disturbances that may occur in production environment.
• Communicate with managers regarding all activities related to operations.
• Categorize and report incidents to the appropriate personnel immediately.
• Populate daily reports related to the team’s products.
• Available to response and take action in a timely manner when an incident has occurred, including weekends.
• Process service request ticket, either from managers or users, within SLA or requester provided timeframe due to urgency of the request.
• Review code from other team, before deploy to PRD environment on data platform.
• Promote pipeline to newer platform whenever customer upgrade or change platform.
• Create and operate database in centralized CloudSQL Database.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Science in Mathematics, Science in Statistics or a related field.
• Basic understanding of the Linux operation system and commands.
• Experience using tool and basic formula within Spreadsheet software (MS Excel/Google Sheets).
• Experience writing basic SQL query language.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Able to work under pressure properly.
• The ability to create your own script to reduce operation processes.
• Knowledgeable and able to write code in the programming language (Python) is a plus.
• Has knowledge and experience in oil and gas industry is a plus.
• Has knowledge and experience in data operation management is a plus.
• Familiar with Bubbletea, Cirrus and Unstructured data platform framework.
• Experience with tools in Google Cloud Platform to operate/maintain Data Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Transfer service, Composer, Secret manager).
• Familiar with PTTEP data management and governance standard is a plus.
