SALES REPRESENTATIVE (MODERN TRADE)
About this position
The Sales Representative (Modern Trade) is responsible for managing assigned customers, developing business strategies, and driving sales growth through effective relationship management and execution of promotional activities.
Responsibilities
• Actively manage assigned customers to contribute to the development of core business strategies that drive sustainable sales and profitable growth.
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers to foster collaboration in achieving shared business objectives, enhancing negotiation positions for agreements and development plans.
• Oversee customer-related tasks with attention to detail, including planning and executing promotions, managing visibility, and controlling spending to meet sales targets.
• Handle the Products Consultants team. Plan volume based on promotions, visibility, and market trends.
• Drive in-store execution and implementation of all activities, promotions, new product launches, and fundamental 7P’s executions.
• Analyze account performance against competitors and market standards, evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and activities, and take corrective actions as needed to ensure business goals are met.
• Support other sales functions to achieve success as a team.
Requirements
• At least 2 to 5 years of experience in the Modern Trade channel or consignment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• Possess strong strategic thinking skills, data interpretation and analytical skills.
• Result-oriented with strong selling, presentation, negotiation skills, and excellent in-store execution abilities.
• Passionate, persevering, and self-motivated to meet challenging sales targets.
• Enthusiastic about people development and new technology.
• Good command of English and proficiency in MS Office applications especially Excel.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own a car.
