About this position

The Employee Relations Officer is responsible for enhancing employee relationships through effective communication, managing employee surveys and activities, overseeing employee welfare and benefits, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Initiate and implement an effective communication program to strengthen employee relationships between employees and the company.
• Make and prepare announcements for communication, both internal and external.
• Maintain contact and communicate with employees to answer their questions and concerns via Line@, Facebook, Email, telephone, etc.
• Develop and create the content for the company’s newsletter.
• Implements policies/strategies for collecting information from employees and managers to identify potential employee relations issues and organizational needs.
• Collect and summarize data/information that is received from the suggestion boxes and the program for improvement.
• Conduct the Employee Survey and communications related to the survey.
• Conduct an Exit Interview and maintain the records for reporting to management.
• Organize and coordinate with concerned departments to provide Employee Activities, including but not limit to Engagement Activities, CSR programs, Annual Sports Day, Employee’s Birthday, Health and Wellness Programs, etc., for creating good morale and good relationship between employees and company as well as promoting employee engagement.
• Control and manage the Employee’s Welfares and Benefits, including Sick staff visiting, Wreath and Funeral Allowances, New-born Giftset, Meyer Day Care Centre, etc.
• Liaise with concerned persons/departments related to employee relations programs and communications.
• Record, update and maintain appropriate reports/records as required.
• Perform other duties or specific developmental projects as assigned.
• Review the existing working processes, policies, procedures and recommend improvements to increase the efficiency of works. Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Job requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in HRM, HRD, Communications, Political Science, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Lest than 2 years direct and hands-on experience in Employee Relations functions, Organization Communication, or Human Resources Management.
• Experience in communications and graphic designs is an advantage.
• Good command of English and Microsoft Offices.
• Have good skills in Video / Graphic Design Software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
• Knowledge of HRM, Labour Protection Law, Employee Relations Laws, or related Laws.
• Good personality, presentation skills, and service-minded.
• Proactive, highly motivated, and creative.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to building a relationship at all levels.
• Negotiation skills, Problem-Solving & Decision making, Details oriented.
• Efficiently work under pressures, deadlines to complete assigned tasks to work well both independently and in groups.
