Electrical and Control Engineer
About this position
The Electrical and Control Engineer in the PVD division will be responsible for supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical and control systems in the PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) production line. This role is ideal for a new graduate eager to apply their electrical engineering skills, gain hands-on experience with industrial control systems, and develop expertise in the high-tech PVD manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical components and control systems in the PVD production line.
• Support senior engineers in identifying and troubleshooting electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks on control panels, wiring, and other electrical equipment.
• Work with senior engineers to analyze and improve control system performance, focusing on enhancing efficiency and consistency in PVD processes.
• Assist in calibrating sensors, controllers, and other system components to maintain accurate process control.
• Support the testing and implementation of control system modifications or upgrades to optimize production and energy use.
• Learn and assist with programming PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems to improve automation and control of the PVD production equipment.
• Support automation projects that enhance the precision and reliability of the PVD processes under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Document program changes, system modifications, and updates to ensure consistency and clarity in control system documentation.
• Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance teams to address technical issues affecting product quality and production efficiency.
• Participate in project and planning meetings to provide insights from an electrical and control perspective, contributing to smooth production schedules and process improvement efforts.
• Follow safety protocols and promote safe practices in all electrical work and control system adjustments within the PVD production area.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and electrical regulations in all activities.
Requirements
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience work in the Manufacturing in Electrical Engineer, Improvement Engineer, and Control Management.
• New graduations are welcome.
• Ability to work as equipment uptime to minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting.
• Good in control system accuracy to maintain high accuracy in process control settings.
• Good in computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Good command in communication skills in English will be advantage.
