About this position

Metro Machinery Co., Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team in Phra Khanong, Bangkok. As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our heavy machinery products, ensuring exceptional customer service and maximising operational efficiency. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the service department, including scheduling, resource allocation, and staff supervision
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimise equipment downtime
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with our machinery, collaborating with the engineering team as needed
• Provide expert technical guidance and support to customers, ensuring their satisfaction
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and address customer needs
• Analyse service data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimise processes
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a plus
• Extensive experience (15+ years) in a service or maintenance management role, and perform as management level 10+ years, preferably in the heavy machinery or industrial equipment industry
• Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills, able to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing service team
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality standards
• Good command of English both spoken and written
