Account Manager
About this position
Due to rapid growth in our company, we need high-potential people to make impact in our sales and service process and business. Metro Machinery aims to develop our people by providing opportunities to develop their skill sets in various areas of Marketing, Finance and Accounting, Credit Analysis, Parts & Service, Product Support, Product Knowledge, Sales and After Sales Service, IT, Human Resources Management and Development, etc.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring that they receive high-quality service and support.
• Proactively engage with clients to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and drive retention through exceptional service and support.
• Work with clients to identify opportunities for additional services or product offers that can add value to their business.
• Develop strategies to upsell or cross-sell relevant products/services, contributing to account growth and increased revenue.
• Create tailored account strategies that align with client goals and position Metro Machinery as a trusted partner in their business.
• Advocate for the client within the company, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed by the relevant teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful and timely delivery of services/products to clients.
• Work closely with the sales, marketing, product, and support teams to ensure a cohesive and streamlined experience for clients.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field. Engineering is a plus.
• Having experience of at least 5 years in account management, client services, or a related role (B2B experience is a plus).
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deliverables simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex client issues with professionalism and tact.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, balancing client needs with company priorities.
• Good command of English both spoken and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Power BI and Excel, CRM software is a plus.
