About this position

Responsible for establishing the direction of technology aimed at keeping the organization at the forefront of change. Generally, this includes the review and analysis of existing products, manufacturing technology and manufacturing practices and methodology with the purpose of improving company competitive position.

Responsibilities

• Direction and management of Manufacturing and Support PI&D Team.
• Direction of the implementation of modern management manufacturing practices and methodology.
• Coaching and mentoring or advising Senior Manufacturing in term of engineering Staff.
• Financial review and justification of new manufacturing equipment and technology.
• Approval of all manufacturing capital expenditure prior to the submission of any new projects.
• Process Improvement and Development budgeting.
• Analyze and set the appropriate Key Performance Indicators for manufacturing performance including the target short-term and long-term expectations.
• Project management of the implementation of new technology including skill transfer to relevant production and maintenance engineering staff.
• General review of the skill base and competency of process improvement engineer and coordination with HR function on their training requirements. This includes monitor the competency of manufacturing staff engineering skill as well.
• Coordination with Product Design, Sales & Marketing on the introduction of new product and technology.
• Identifying any IT requirements necessary to support the successful implementation of technology and coordinating these requirements.
• Knowledgeable in Automation and Robotics system.
• Experienced in Automation and Robotics system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering in any related field.
• A minimum 5 years experience in engineering, process improvement, process analysis, project management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Excellent in English skill.
