About this position

The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for ensuring that both direct and indirect materials meet NOK quality standards, overseeing the inspection process, and coordinating with suppliers to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Quality control for both direct and indirect material to meet NOK quality standard.
• Sets up, monitors the process of incoming raw material inspection and review supplier data.
• Perform First Article qualification, System, Process audit, Supplier evaluation and follow up Supplier corrective action.
• Coordinate, work as interface between supplier and work in process with other departments to improve and raw material solving quality problems.
• Recommends new raw material suppliers. Collects supplier information, visits supply’s factory to review the production process and standard of the supplied products. Reports all details and makes recommendations to supervisor.
• Advises and recommends the production and process of suppliers quality solving problems.
• Supervises and advice subordinates to work as well in quality function of both SQE and Incoming inspection section.
• Other jobs upon assignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Industrial / Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• 1–3 years experience in supplier quality engineer or quality engineer in Electronics manufacturing or related functions.
• English Language, Statistical analysis, Audit, Drawing QA knowledge, Quality system (ISO9000, ISO 14001,…).
