Engineer (Contamination Control Laboratory)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Cleanliness testing; perform routine testing of incoming materials (both direct & indirect), in-process and finished goods to monitor the quality of products and samples from the process using proper procedures/methods with accurate data analysis.
• Contamination analysis; perform the audit, testing and control the contamination issue which may be effect to the quality of products. To support of manufacturing team for Contamination control.
• To provide support to Sr. Contamination Control Lab. Engineer/ QA Manager on special issues related to product/materials and process cleanliness.
• Cleanroom environment control; conducts periodic inspections on all environment aspects in the factory such as temperature, dust particle, air velocity, humidity, etc., both in the production line and in the cleanroom to meet Cleanroom standard requirement.
• To prepare the official lab reports based on the acquired lab results in a timely manner.
• Test methodology update and correspond with customer Labs or external Labs for Lab correlation activities.
• To supervise and provide technical guidance/advice to lab technicians and lab operators.
• To support Environmental Compliance to meet Client’s requirements (RoHS, Halogen Free, etc.). Collect materials for RoHS/HF testing at a 3rd party lab, then summarize and update test reports for RoHS/HF to team.
• To support NPI /Cleanliness qualification.
• Respond for all activities that are assigned to support analytical testing.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Chemistry Science or Chemical Engineering or related.
• 1-2 years’ experience in cleanliness Lab (FTIR/NVR, DHS-Outgassing, GCMS) or relate field.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in Analytical Laboratory. Familiar with Analytical Lab Instruments such as IC, LPC, FT-IR, GCMS, DHS-Outgassing and SEM.
• HDD cleanliness contamination knowledge.
• Good command in English.
