The Thailand office provides engineering consultancy services in Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Sanitary, Façade, Lighting, Traffic Engineering, and Building Physics. Our engineers work in a multi-disciplinary environment and have gained a high appreciation for the interfacing requirements between structure, civil works, and mechanical and electrical services.

About this position

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing costs and contracts in construction projects, ensuring that financial aspects are handled efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties in accordance with contract or as directed by Project Manager and Team Leaders.
• Prepare indicative cost estimates, preliminary cost estimates, and detail cost estimates for each design phase (Cost Plan).
• Participate in project meetings in connection with Value Engineering.
• Prepare project Bill of Quantities (BOQ) with complete scope of works and unit rate pricing.
• Prepare tender documents including Blank of Quantities (BOQ) and draft contracts condition and TOR for bidding to Contractor/Supplier.
• Liaise and Co-ordinate with Designer and Contractor/Supplier regarding tender query and response during tendering process.
• Liaise and assist with Client during tender bids opening, evaluation, analysis and clarification with Contractor/Subcontractor/Supplier.
• Liaise and assist Client for Direct Purchase; tendering and procurement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or any related field.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience related to cost estimate, cost management, payment certification.
• Good Computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Points).
• Good knowledge computer software in AutoCAD.
