IT Manager
About this position
The IT Manager is responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, and upgrading of IT systems within the company, ensuring security and efficiency while leading the IT staff and managing infrastructure.
Responsibilities
• Overall operation, maintenance and upgrading of hardware and software for all IT Systems within the company, including internet and email services.
• Supervising and coaching IT staff team members, as well as planning and controlling of their inputs and performances.
• Provide, recommend and design IT infrastructure.
• Introduce new IT technologies to the office.
• Ensure adequate security within the IT systems to prevent non-authorised access to information or outside intrusion through email or internet while not compromising on the ability to receive all critical information and email.
• Advising and training other staff regarding any IT matters.
• Ensure the IT systems and software to meet with the requirements of our IMS systems.
• Implement and maintain company IT Management Procedures.
• Provide a coherent strategic future plan for IT considering future industry and IT technology trends.
• Study and provide suggestion, as well as encouraging the utilisation and adoption of existing software (i.e. MS365) to its full potential across the office.
• Prepare a proper IT budget and present to the Directors for approval in a timely manner.
• Advise preventive maintenance of servers and other central IT requirement.
• Plan the software asset management. Implement preventive and corrective action plan on software licensing violation.
• Implementing IT system for better improvement and upgrading upon Directors’ approval.
• Other duties as requested by Managing Director, Directors and Team Leaders.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Sciences or Engineering majoring Computer Science, Information Technology or related field from a recognised university.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Windows Software, Autodesk Software and System Network.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Require ability to effectively function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and service-minded.
• Pleasant and professional manner with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command in spoken and written English should be advantage.
