Design Management Manager
About this position
The Design Management Coordinator serves as a vital link between the design team, client, and project stakeholders. This role includes coordinating design activities, ensuring alignment with project goals, and maintaining smooth communication to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
• Act as a liaison between client, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure design requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
• Facilitate meetings and design workshops, documenting decisions and tracking action items.
• Monitor design schedules and milestones, ensuring timely delivery of design outputs.
• Track design progress and report updates to senior management and project stakeholders.
• Manage and organize design documentation, ensuring alignment with project standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate submission of design packages for client approvals and permitting processes.
• Review design deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to project specifications.
• Provide feedback to design teams to address inconsistencies or areas for improvement.
• Identify and address potential design issues early in the process to minimize project delays.
• Support problem-solving initiatives to address challenges related to architectural design.
• Foster collaboration between multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and incorporating feedback into design solutions.
• Carry out other duties as required by Directors/Team Leaders/Project/Construction Manager.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil, Structure, MEP, Project Management, or a related field.
• More than 15 years of experience in architectural design coordination or project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry design processes and technical standards.
• Understanding of design (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management software.
• Experience in Thailand in construction industry.
• Expat or Thai but must be an excellent communicator in English.
