Assistant Manager – Business Development
About this position
The Assistant Manager – Business Development is responsible for driving business development initiatives, coordinating with team leaders and directors, and managing various marketing activities to promote the company's projects and track record.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for business development (Marketing), in liaison with Team Leaders and the Directors.
• Convene regular marketing meetings. Prepare minutes of meeting.
• Prepare monthly newsletter.
• Laisse with other Meinhardt office BD Managers.
• Participate in business development, coordinating with Team Leaders and Directors.
• Help Directors set up appointments with potential new clients, follow up marketing leads, etc.
• Publicize and promote our projects and track record.
• Take care of Lighthouse Club affairs, including confirmation of sponsors and venue, e-mailing flyers for regular events, updating the membership list, co-ordinating registration and payment at events etc.
• Regularly attend business networking functions, (Cocktail party, sponsorships, golf days, in-house seminars, BCTT, Austcham, STCC, Lighthouse, etc.) representing Meinhardt to help promote the Company.
• Assist Team Leaders and the Directors to find new business contacts.
• Assist in organizing company activities, functions, and meetings.
• Other duties as required and directed by Acting BD Manager, Team Leaders, Directors and Managing Director.
• This is not an exhaustive list and other duties may be required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Public Relations Faculty or related field from a recognized university or Institute with minimum 4 years working experience.
• At least two years' experience in Business Development/Marketing.
• Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
• Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Bi-lingual (Thai/English) – TOEFL or iTEP advanced.
• Thai applicant with international work experience.
• Good computer skills i.e. MS. Office Power Point, Photoshop, etc.
