Factory Accounting Manager
About this position
The Factory Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing cost accounting functions, managing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations while leading a team in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist in providing Schedule Cost and study cost for a new product some forecasting of cost every month and projection for AOP.
• Manage to work with book closing every month and prepare all the reports to submit to the region and other department.
• Provide and monitor pricing for inter-company following company policy.
• Perform monthly closing and improve efficiencies in the monthly close process.
• Collects assumptions and data for schedule cost calculation such as Ticket / RM /Conversion / Waste/specification and other.
• Provides the schedule costs change on a quarterly basis and furnish relevant information to management on those changes.
• Regularly updated to ensure accurate costing, incorporate all process of policy changes that deem necessary and recommend improvements e.g. process inventory balances, allocations/distribution of overheads.
• Coordinate and perform monthly factory closing activities and ensure financial closing and all internal monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting are on time.
• Accountable for manufacturing accounting journal for month-end closing purposes which included voucher preparation and posting related to factory-related, in compliance with Thailand local accounting regulation and US GAAP where applicable.
• Assist in providing Schedule Cost and study cost for new product some forecasting of cost in every month and projection for AOP.

• Setup intercompany price of finished product align with policy (V price), Setup and maintain Finished goods and material master data including standard cost (Import and local).
• Review RM and WIP movement by reviewing, RM consumption, general vouchers WIP adjust, Manage annual physical inventory count of RM and WIP.
• Provide management reporting in part of MBOM and other reports as required. Manage and coach the factory accounting teams.
• Implement and lead in projects such as New cost allocation/SAP PP/Waste deduction saving projects.
• Assist in monitoring MFG Daily waste report and Waste reconciliation.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Costing, Auditing, or any finance-related course.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in cost accounting or relevant functions.
• Have a working background in a multinational company.
• Good personality and high responsibility.
• Ability to work independently and teamwork occasionally.
• Detailed-oriented, strong interpersonal and leadership skills required.
