About this position

We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented interns to assist our Quality Control Inspectors (QCI) at various worksites. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of construction activities and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Assist QCIs in monitoring and controlling materials
• Support fit-up and dimensional control activities
• Support COMP EX / ATEX Inspectors in their daily inspections
• Assist in welding inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT)
• Participate in blasting and priming processes
• Help with certification and final close-out of fabricated items, both small and large

Requirements

Essential Qualifications and Education:
• Active college student in D3/D4/S1. (Engineering, Construction Management or any related field)
• Internship placement is available in McDermott Batam and the minimum duration should be done in 8 Months.
• Applicants should not be participating in another internship program.
• Applicants should have strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions.
