Service Parts Engineering & Purchasing
About this position
The Service Parts Engineering & Purchasing position focuses on establishing and maintaining service parts, leading engineering approvals, and enhancing service parts cost performance to ensure efficient procurement and supply.
Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain service parts
• Coordinate with related parties to complete set up service parts for new model vehicle
• Reflect local parts to Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) and distribute EPC to dealers with timely completion
• Input and maintain service parts information in system
• Answer inquiries related with service parts engineering or usage from dealers
• Check and confirm specification of parts if problem occurred from customers
• Be a window person to cooperate with GPM team about registering and updating supplier master
• Enhance service parts cost performance
• Analyze cost structure, negotiate and approve quotation
• Establish parts procurement conditions, packaging cost and delivery cost and delivery lead time with suppliers
• Support Parts Supply team and clear any issue with suppliers (Minimum Order Quantity, price, Lead time for delivery parts)
• Lead engineering approval
• Approve the engineering change proposed by suppliers or new part localization
• Conduct Manufacturing Site Assessment and approve PPAP for engineering change items
• Maintain and improve procurement quality with suppliers
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Strong understanding of parts procurement and supply chain processes.
• Ability to analyze cost structures and negotiate with suppliers.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues related to parts specification and quality.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and maintain accurate parts information in the system.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in both Thai and English, both written and spoken.
