About this position

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and developing tax strategies while managing the accounting department's operations.

Responsibilities

• Control the closing of financial statements and analyze monthly/yearly financial statements, prepare notes to the financial statements, and calculate corporate income tax.
• Oversee, control, and audit the accounting records and tax submissions to ensure compliance with domestic and international accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Prepare reports analyzing both production costs and selling costs, presenting them to management along with an analysis and highlighting any business irregularities.
• Develop tax planning strategies to ensure the organization can pay taxes correctly, completely, and economically, maximizing benefits for the organization.
• Monitor and verify sales data, costs, gross profit, write-offs, and inventory losses, as well as check the accuracy of financial status reports.
• Notify management about significant issues that may impact the company.
• Set the work plan for the accounting department to align with the company's overall policy and overall plan.
• Design and establish a standardized format for presenting performance analysis reports to ensure a unified perspective and create connections.
• Monitor analytical issues comprehensively to identify opportunities for improving work efficiency, reducing costs, and managing expenses effectively.
• Coordinate with auditors, the Revenue Department for accounting information, and relevant government agencies.
• Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Accounting and Finance.
• At least 8 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
• Ability to do multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principle, taxation, and other related.
• Experience using SAP programs will be given special consideration.
• Excellent in MS Office (especially Excel) and open-minded to implement new accounting system.
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
• Good analytical.
• Strong management skills and soft skills.
