SEA Value Leadership Dry C&T PDD Technologist
About this position
The SEA Value Leadership Dry C&T PDD Technologist role is to work on the transformation initiatives of Dry/C&T projects to support DiB/COGS Transformation project with delivery target.
Responsibilities
• Lead R&D activities within Regional Innovation/Renovation to enable DiB/COGS Transformation project implementations across PCH/CHB sites and provide guidance/share learning for HUA/HYD sites.
• Develop and maintain Dry/C&T Pet food products to meet the requirements of our consumers (regionally) and comply with Mars global brand direction.
• Ensure product developments and manufactures at factory are consistent to the quality requirements and comply with the internal/the external standard e.g. Mars Q&FS, MPENS, AAFCO, and achieve all critical success factors (CSFs).
• Provide technical input and align product change with Lead Markets.
• Initiate prototype development based on approved DiB/COGS Transformation brief and CSFs and able to implement a production scale-up from kitchen to industrial trial, commission and validation.
• Collaborate with local and regional functions to ensure a smooth transition of technology and product knowledge and successfully carry out related technical requirements e.g. regulatory compliance process (RCP), recipe registration.
Requirements
• The job holder is responsible for product development relating to DiB/COGS Transformation activities.
• This role is a part of SEA COGS Transformation project team members that they will be working closely together with the market and supply sites.
• The job holder will provide technical input, product idea, claim supporting data, and technical information to the market and align the product change with marketing team.
• The job holder will lead for recipe development starting from initiate prototype development at lab scale, production scale-up and successful deployment to the market.
• The job holder will lead to perform project risk assessments with cross functions to ensure risk registration along with the mitigation plans identified.
• The job holder will lead for line trial, commissioning, validation start-up process in factory and ensure the product manufacture at site is consistent to the quality and food safety standards, nutritional requirements, and all critical success factors (CSFs).
