About this position

Maintenance Management for the packing process including managing a team of technicians, preventative maintenance program, spare parts management, maintenance budget management. This role has a direct impact on the factory cost structure and Pouch factory team engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians for shift reliability support and preventative maintenance works. Team roles and responsibilities are clarified, and team’s individual development plans are in place. Business communication and team updates for changes in business activities delivered.
• Factory downtime performance is improved, training programs are put in place, spares parts are managed effectively, and maintenance budgets meet the plan THB/Tonne.
• Downtime recording is accurate and maintained, preventative maintenance program is in managed and continuously developed, spare parts inventories are clear, and risks identified and agreed, job orders are complete and tracked by period.
• Provides support to technicians and factory operations teams for continuous improvement activities in Safety, Quality, and cost efficiency. Provides training and development programs for associates to improve skills and understanding of equipment and processes. Leads troubleshooting/problem solving activities to identify root cause issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. (or other equivalent qualification)
• Mechanical or Electrical design in Food Manufacturing, feed mill, or consumer products industry.
• Experience in bulk materials handling systems for cereals and grains, liquid handling, process tanks, pumps and piping and process control systems.
• People Management for 3 years.
• Applicants must have applied knowledge of mechanical design, modification of exiting equipment and new equipment additions.
• Hands-on experience in machine troubleshooting is essential.
• Skill in Preventive Maintenance.
• At least 5 years working experience.
• MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD.
• Have good presentation skills.
• Be a team player with good communication.
• Be fluent in English language (spoken and written).
