About this position

Indonesia is a critical market for the SEA Pet Nutrition portfolio for Mars, with an impressive portfolio including iconic brands like Whiskas®, Pedigree® and Sheba®. This Marketing Manager role oversees this multi-brand portfolio for Indonesia with the responsibility to deliver marketing strategy that'll help deliver business financial objectives and gain share in the Pet Nutrition segment.

Responsibilities

The role requires a strategic marketing leader who will analyze business performance to identify growth opportunities, drive effective marketing investments, and recommend innovations that strengthen our portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of consumer behavior, consumer centricity, ability to understand market trends in depth, and strong business analysis skills. The role requires translating global brand strategies according to local market needs, engaging cross-functional teams for seamless deployment. Key responsibilities include:
• Analyze market performance, sales data, and competitive trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Work closely with sales and distribution teams to enhance portfolio penetration and channel optimization.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate market performance and recommend strategic adjustments.
• Prepare and present regular market performance reports to senior leadership - enable continuous improvement on key business drivers across business levers.
• Develop and execute marketing investment strategies across touchpoints - oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of campaigns across digital and traditional media platforms.
• Collaborate with media agencies to ensure optimal budget allocation and targeting for maximum reach and build brand mental availability.
• Lead sampling programs to effectively introduce and drive trial of new and existing products.
• Identify gaps in the current product portfolio and recommend innovation opportunities to address market needs.
• Collaborate with regional and global product development teams to introduce new products tailored to local consumer preferences.
• Conduct market research to assess consumer needs, preferences, and emerging trends.
• Develop go-to-market strategies for product launches, ensuring alignment with overall brand and business objectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams - including local sales team, Regulatory, Finance, Supply, Digital marketing.
