About this position
Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok is looking for an Assistant Director of People & Culture to join our People & Culture Department team. The role involves assisting in the planning and execution of P&C initiatives, with a focus on excellence, service, integrity, and accountability.
Responsibilities
• Assist the Director of People & Culture in developing and implementing the People Strategy.
• Execute tasks related to Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Training, and Salaries and Benefits.
• Plan and oversee the functions of the People & Culture Department.
• Manage all aspects of day-to-day operations within the People & Culture Department.
• Ensure the organization meets all regulatory requirements and maintains accurate records.
• Research, propose, and lead compensation programs.
• Research, design, and implement employee policies and procedures.
• Develop and lead recruitment and employee retention initiatives.
• Prepare budgets and forecast departmental needs.
Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a luxury establishment or luxury retail in a similar role.
• Fluency in English and Thai.
• A solid background in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment.
• Strong business acumen and legal knowledge.
• Proficiency in P&C digital transformation.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to handle challenging tasks and situations effectively.
• A results-oriented approach, with strong attention to detail, focus on timelines, and organizational skills.
• A positive attitude and motivation to elevate the department to new heights.
