• Prepare and distribute daily Thai-language press/photo releases of: -
• VIP events in function rooms and VIP guests in restaurants
• Celebrity hotel guests
• F&B Promotions/Hotel Happenings: -
• Interview articles with guest chefs
• Food & restaurant reviews/new menus
• Hotel renovations/latest updates and developments
• Room & Spa Packages (for local residents), etc.
• Seek and propose various angles to attract media to feature ORBKK as well as The Oriental Shops in their publications, radio and electronic programmes
• Contribute story angles for VIP guests and functions to be featured in appropriate columns/programmes in the print/electronic media
• Set up interviews for VIP guests/guest chefs during F&B promotions with appropriate media
• Maintain regular contact with major Thai press to keep them informed of happenings/promotions at ORBKK by telephone or entertaining them at hotel restaurants on occasions
• Excellent presentation and proactive communication skills in both verbal and written in English and Thai.
• Good computer literacy skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in hotel management or relevant.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a luxury establishment or luxury retail in a similar role.
• Possess good leadership skills and team player.
• A positive attitude and motivation to elevate the department to new heights.
