Graphic Design Manager
About this position
We are seeking a Graphic Design Manager to lead a team of designers and manage external resources, ensuring the delivery of high-quality visual designs that align with our platform’s objectives. This role involves overseeing the entire design process from concept to final delivery, balancing creativity, technical expertise, and leadership to foster a productive, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with senior manager to define and implement the platform’s creative strategy.
• Establish and maintain creative guidelines to ensure visual consistency with the company’s brand identity and UX/UI standards.
• Design and produce high-quality visuals for our platform, including banners, landing pages, and module improvements.
• Create prototypes to illustrate the user journey in campaign design, enhancing the overall user experience.
• Consolidate all designs from internal and external resources to ensure consistency and alignment with the overall creative vision.
• Lead the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities effectively to both internal designers and external resources.
• Provide detailed design feedback to maintain consistency and quality across all creative work.
• Offer constructive feedback and mentorship to designers, enhancing overall design quality.
• Work cross-functionally to understand project requirements and develop effective design solutions.
• Implement strategic planning for optimal resource allocation and comprehensive project management.
• Continuously evaluate and improve design processes and workflows.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years in a project management role within a fast-paced e-commerce or digital marketing environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design tools (e.g., Figma).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and leadership capabilities.
• In-depth understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout, coupled with strong creative skills and the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Experience in user-centric design and developing user flows to enhance user experience and engagement.
• Experience in promotional layout.
