About this position

As a category specialist at MAKA Motors, you will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies across various revenue streams, focusing on optimizing turnover and sales while managing inventory and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Develop inventory planning for additional revenue streams, such as accessories, merchandise, and spare parts.
• Monitor and manage aging inventory to minimize holding costs and optimize stock level.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align promotional strategies with broader GTM objectives.
• Analyze sales trends and inventory performance to identify opportunities for growth.
• Provide recommendations for pricing strategies to drive sales and maintain healthy margins.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for category sales and inventory health.
• Support strategic decision-making related to category expansion, product lifecycle management, and demand forecasting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field from reputable university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in category management, inventory planning, or related roles.
• Strong skills in inventory management, demand forecasting, and sales planning.
• Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
• Commercial mindset with the ability to think strategically and implement practical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams.
