About this position

The Purchasing Engineer is responsible for direct raw material sourcing activities to meet quality requirements while analyzing costs. The role involves supplier negotiations, quotations, and maintaining records in the ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Buyer direct raw material sourcing activities in order to meet our quality requirement relating to competitive cost and analyze cost to purchase.
• Contact local supplier for new model implement and trial sample.
• Coordinate about negotiations with supplier, and handle assessment.
• Request for quotation from supplier, compare cost and analyze.
• VA/VE Activities, New model, cost reduction follow up and compare merit.
• P/R checking and purchase order issue and record in ERP (Sage 300) program.
• Supplier process change control and design change follow up.

Requirements

• Bachelor 's degree in any field.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in purchasing.
• Good command of English and able work under pressure.
• Good analytical skill and knowledge of ISO 9001 / BRC / FSSC / GHP / HACCP / ISO 15378 / ISO 14001 45001.
• Good skill in communication, strong negotiation and report preparation.
