About this position

The QC Engineer will be a key team member in new projects, focusing on quality control and assurance processes, internal quality monitoring, and participation in audits.

Responsibilities

• As a team member in new project
• Attend new project meeting as team member.
• Participate in new project APQP, Work with customer for the special quality requirement and define the appearance standard as team member.
• Participate sample manufacturing each stage in APQP come up with some improvement idea or recommendation.
• Prepare prototype, control plan, incoming inspection, Dimension report, etc. and update them once something changed.
• Prepare First/last off inspection report, process audit report, dock audit report, cleanliness test work instruction.
• Confirm inspection method frequency, after inspector finished inspection work, validation is necessary.
• Review gage/CF concept and cooperate with buyer for searching gages’ supplier, manufacturing & validating.
• Support PPAP document for new project.
• Internal quality control
• Review FTT everyday, once find them under our target, monitor relative engineers to solve the issue.
• Review SPC control chart everyday, once find them under our target, monitor relative engineers to solve.
• Monitor and summary the issue at quality gate, feedback to relative department, follow up root cause analysis and action.
• Attend Fast response meeting everyday, confirm relative problems have been solved.
• Once find serious problems, open 8D report and monitor relative engineers to solve.
• Audit equipment manufacturing capability as stated period, adjust Control plan as CPK value.
• Monitor first/last off inspection, process audit and other inspection implementing status, once find some problems, implement corrective action.
• Join the regular FMEA review meeting and follow up on the corrective action and update related documents if need.
• Once customers’ complaint occurred, open 8D and organize relative engineers to solve the issue, Take fast response on the production quality gate alarm.
• Take the responsibility for product quality training for inspectors & operators.
• Participate in audit process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years experience for QC & QA job in Automotive.
• Knowledge for ISO/IATF16949, ISO1400, QC 7 tools, KPI, TPS and other.
• Have skill in Lab to know 3D scan, gauge calibration, CM.
• Have skill in problem solving and innovative thinking with leadership qualities.
• Good command in English.
