Later, the business evolved and has grown into one of the leading manufacturers of Chilli pastes, sauces, curry pastes, instant seasonings, ready-to-cook sets and various other products under the “MAEPRANOM BRAND” and “SIAM KITCHEN BRAND”.

About this position

Legal Manager ผู้จัดการแผนกกฏหมาย is responsible for overseeing legal matters, contract drafting, data protection compliance, and providing legal advice to ensure compliance with laws. They also handle trademark registration, prepare important documents, and coordinate with external legal offices. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Law or higher, a lawyer's license, at least 7 years of legal experience, and proficiency in English and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review and draft legal contracts
• Verify the accuracy of documents presented to the board/executives for signing
• Act as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and ensure compliance with data protection laws
• Provide legal opinions and advice to departments to ensure legal compliance
• Coordinate with external legal offices to renew trademarks abroad
• Register or renew trademarks in Thailand with the Department of Intellectual Property
• Prepare important documents and coordinate with lawyers for litigation matters
• Prepare monthly departmental reports for presentation to superiors
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law or higher
• Lawyer's license or graduate from a Thai accredited law school
• At least 7 years of legal work experience
• Experience in litigation, knowledge of legal processes, and coordination with legal offices
• Experience in data protection, preparing related documents, and acting as a Data Protection Officer
• Experience in contract drafting, reviewing, and editing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in English
• Ability to work collaboratively at all levels within the organization
• High sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure
• Good work ethic
