About this position

The Area Sales Manager for Existing B2B Clients will lead a high-performance sales team in the Eastern Seaboard region, focusing on building strong client relationships and executing effective sales strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Inspire: Lead and develop a high-performance sales team, ensuring they are motivated, goal-focused, and empowered to reach their full potential.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key B2B clients located on the Eastern Seaboard and surrounding areas. Ensure their needs are consistently met and exceeded, foster long-term partnerships, minimize client churn, and identify upselling opportunities to maximize sales targets.
• Sales Strategy Execution: Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement effective sales strategies tailored to B2B clients, aligning team goals with company objectives.
• Performance Monitoring: Set clear performance metrics, track sales performance, and conduct regular evaluations to ensure that targets are met and surpassed.
• Training & Development: Provide continuous coaching and training to the team, helping them stay ahead of industry trends and sharpen their sales skills.
• Reporting: Provide detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior management, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales management, with proven track record in a leadership role, managing and developing a sales team.
• English Competency: High proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Market Insight: Deeply familiar with the Eastern Seaboard and surrounding areas, possessing strong market knowledge and a solid understanding of B2B customer needs and trends.
• Sales Expertise: Strong track record of driving sales growth, developing successful strategies, and managing key accounts within a B2B environment.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and motivate Sales Reps to achieve sales target.
• Goal-Oriented: Results-driven with a focus on achieving targets and delivering on business objectives.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with CRM systems, sales software, and other tools to track sales performance and streamline processes.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
