About this position

The NPI Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for overseeing the manual and automated sub-assembly processes during the NPI phase, driving yield improvement, and ensuring smooth transitions to mass production.

Responsibilities

• To be process prime for Manual and Automated sub assembly process during NPI phase
• To run activity for Station set up and Process development and Maintenance around responsible area
• To drive NPI manufacturing towards yield improvement and manage Kaizen in the manufacturing process.
• To drive activities in identification and continuous improvement of project management processes, yield improvement, Scrap reduction, Process root cause failure analysis and Correction reduction, and cost reduction.
• To support problem solving of moderate scope and complexity.
• To support the project teams: R&D, NPI and Gate transitions, ensure the smooth transition to Mass production phase, and adhoc requests.
• To Coordinate related tasks, and engineering changes with internal team and Manufacturing team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering/ physic in Optical, Electronic, Electrical, Telecommunication, material, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in optical communication component/ electronic industry.
• Strong data analysis capability.
• Programs manage capability.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
