Manufacturing Process Engineer / Senior
About this position
Responsibilities
• Work together with R&D team, support product development, transfer to production and continuous improvement on responsible areas.
• Develop assembly and manufacturing procedures for complex laser alignment.
• Responsible for hands-on manufacturing improvement and troubleshooting of Ultrafast Laser products.
• Responsible for writing assembly procedures, test procedures and edit or update work instructions.
• Provide training to production personnel.
• Provide sustaining engineering support to production to improve product cost, first pass yield and cycle time.
• Perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions (A3, 8D, FMEA).
• Make data-driven decisions.
Requirements
• Bachelor or master’s in engineering or related fields.
• > 5 years of Process Engineering or related experience.
• Experience with Laser alignment and assembly processes is a plus.
• Able to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minor supervision.
• Able to complete projects in a timely manner and document the results.
• Familiar with basic problem-solving techniques.
• Able to occasionally work irregular hours as required.
• Good command of English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Able to travel to other Engineering sites globally.
