Ramp Safety Officer
About this position
The Ramp Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring safety standards are met on the ramp, conducting training, inspections, and audits, and facilitating communication among transportation staff.
Responsibilities
• Perform general flight evaluation and provide its report to the Safety and Security Asst. Manager
• Perform Ramp Safety Inspection to assigned airlines.
• Check and Certify Loader and Driver’s flight services ability.
• Conduct assigned topics of training to transportation staff, such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
• Train the Driver & Loader Trainer (such as Foreman Driver, Foreman Loader) in order to have them able to provide On the Job Training to the driver and loader directly.
• Ensure all Ramp Safety Training are recorded and filing properly.
• Working as various shifts to perform both of daily observe and Random/ Surprise Check (Unobserved) A1 Check which covering to all service airports.
• Briefing Ramp Safety Bulletin, Airline Safety Circulation and related Activities, Safety Alert monitoring to all transportation members.
• Coordinate with other function as per assigned task.
• Co-ordinate Internal and External Ramp Safety Audit.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in any field, Safety or Aviation is a plus.
• Good command in Microsoft office skill.
• Good Presentation and Facilitation skill.
• Program / Campaign management skill.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
• Excellence in English (Spoken and Written).
• Have Driving license and able to drive manual transmission.
