About this position
Responsibilities
This role, in partnership with a peer, will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of our Fixed Income Desktop product portfolio.
• Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and implement a comprehensive Fixed Income Product Strategy, aligning with business goals, customer needs & market demands.
• Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and client feedback to identify new opportunities and improve existing offerings.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, design, sales, customer support and marketing teams to ensure successful product delivery and go-to-market strategies.
• User-Centric Approach: Champion a user-centric demeanour, prioritizing user, customer support feedback and usability testing to drive product improvements. Incorporate user personas and their workflows into our product strategy to deliver a detailed and intuitive user experience.
• Client Engagement: Engage directly with clients to collect feedback, understand their needs and problems, and ensure that product development is aligned with customer expectations.
• Autonomous Leadership: Demonstrate a high degree of self-organization and autonomy in decision-making to drive the product forward, making informed choices that align with the overall product and business strategy.
• Fixed Income Workflow Expertise: Leverage your Fixed Income experience building analytic tools, to deliver industry leading workflows.
• Partner Management: Build and manage relationships with key business colleagues, both internally and externally, to ensure a collaborative approach to product development and delivery.
Requirements
• Experience: Strong focus on Fixed Income pricing apps plus Fixed Income data and market conventions. Ideally, prior product management experience.
• Leadership: Consistent track record to lead projects with cross-functional teams and drive product strategy independently. Passionate about making things happen and upbeat enough to move the needle.
• Teammate: Strong standout colleague with experience of working with virtual teams from different functions/regions.
• Product Engineering: Practitioner or familiar with lean and agile engineering approaches is beneficial; able to critically assess, challenge and inspire change on how we build things, for a quicker and better delivery to market.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving capacities, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Ideally, used to product analytics tools and to define and supervise relevant metrics for the products and the business.
