The Area Sales Manager is responsible for formulating and executing sales strategies, leading a sales team, and expanding market share for Mom and Baby products in Jakarta, Jawa Tengah, and Jawa Timur.
• Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute effective sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets within the assigned area (Jakarta, Jawa Tengah dan Jawa Timur)
• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales supervisor ensuring they meet individual and team targets.
• Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities, increasing the market share of our Mom and Baby products in key locations.
• Retailer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and pharmacy chains to ensure product visibility and availability.
• Customer Insights & Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback, trends, and competitor activity to refine sales strategies and improve product offerings.
• Sales Performance Monitoring: Track sales performance, providing regular reports on KPIs such as sales volume, revenue, and market penetration. Adjust strategies based on results.
• Promotional Activities: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns, in-store displays, and other sales-boosting activities.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Coordinate with the supply chain to ensure optimal stock levels in retail outlets, avoiding overstock or stockouts.
• Training & Development: Provide training and support to the sales team, enhancing their product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Budget Management: Manage and control sales-related budgets within the assigned area, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the FMCG sector, with a focus on Mom and Baby products.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving market expansion.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and motivating sales teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to develop actionable strategies.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area frequently.
• Proficient in using sales and CRM software.
