About this position

The position involves handling basic monitoring and troubleshooting of security cases, providing operational support, and ensuring compliance with security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for handling basic monitoring and troubleshooting of various security cases.
• Responsible for providing day-to-day operational support for changing basic configuration & creating security report to ensure compliance & protection of security devices.
• Ensure compliance to SLA.
• Respond incident, change request tickets, and ensure regular update to tickets is being performed.
• Escalate to L2 Security Engineer that has been categorized as actionable to be escalated.
• Willingness to work in 24/7 shifts environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Telecommunication, Informatics Engineering or related field.
• Practical experience or basic understanding of information security principles and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of CheckPoint Firewall, Cisco ASA/Firepower, FortiGate, TrendMicro DDI and TPS.
• General analytical skills to troubleshoot security problem for various security devices.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to interact with internal and external teams.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good time management & discipline with time.
• Basic system administration skills and understanding of security tools such as Firewalls, IPS, TPS, DDI.
• Security certifications (CCNA Security, FCA, CCSA, Deep Discovery Professional, or equivalent associate level certification) will be preferred.
• Experience min. 1 year in Network/Cybersecurity.
