About this position

Lintasarta is a leading Indonesian telecommunications and IT solutions provider, specializing in business-to-business (B2B) services. We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to join our team and help protect our organization’s networks from cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Network Security Management: Deploy, configure, and manage security solutions including Trend Micro IPS, Trend Micro NDR, F5 WAF/API Security, Cisco WSA Web Proxy, and Cisco Email Security.
• Threat Detection & Response: Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity, detect potential attacks, and respond promptly to mitigate risks.
• Incident Handling: Investigate network security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with other teams for remediation.
• Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Vulnerability Management: Perform vulnerability assessments and patch management to address security weaknesses in the network.
• Optimization & Tuning: Continuously optimize and fine-tune security tools to improve detection accuracy and minimize false positives.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall security posture, and provide regular reports on network security performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in network security or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Trend Micro IPS, Trend Micro NDR, F5 WAF/API Security, Cisco WSA Web Proxy, and Cisco Email Security.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewall management, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
• Experience with web application security, email security, and proxy management.
• Familiarity with threat detection systems like Trend Micro NDR and Trend Micro IPS.
• Understanding of network traffic analysis, vulnerability assessments, and incident response.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and security operations is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams and providing incident updates.
