About this position

The Site Operation Manager (Warehouse Bangna KM19) is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient delivery of goods, managing transport operations, and maintaining customer relationships while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities

• Develop resource plans for peak seasonal periods to achieve availability.
• Manage operating procedures to ensure accurate, on-time, and full delivery of goods in perfect condition, meeting customer expectations.
• Lead all transport operations to provide a cost-effective, high-quality service to stores in compliance with local transport regulations and adaptable to demand fluctuations.
• Develop and implement operating plans to process and deliver customer orders on time and at the least cost.
• Establish and maintain relationships and contacts with customer managers to facilitate the achievement of objectives.
• Forecast and manage cost center expenditure within budget for effective control and utilization.
• Ensure the most efficient and cost-effective operations.
• Ensure the team has a clear action plan that is reviewed for effectiveness during progress checks.
• Coach the team individually to enhance distribution standards and operations.
• Collaborate with staff and customers to minimize our environmental impact by reducing energy usage and practicing waste reduction, re-use, and recycling.
• Initiate and implement any new solutions to support smooth operation.
• Lead the team to maintain discipline in following the strategy, plan, and standard operating procedures (SOP).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Transport Management, or any related field.
• Extensive experience in managing warehouse and transportation within a Distribution Centre.
• Strong technical knowledge of warehouse and transportation operating methods and equipment requirements.
• Knowledge of the overall supply chain with a focus on store operations and industry transport.
• Customer service experience and skills.
• Extensive background comprising on-the-job training, work experience, administrative systems, and specific skills development within a retail environment.
• Knowledge in budgeting and finance fields.
• Staff management experience, including negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
• Able to travel between sites.
