Regional Head – Financial Planning, Controlling & Treasury
About this position
Responsibilities
• Lead to regional finance function for Asia (3 FTE) in achieving the annual objectives
• Oversee the regional accounting, controlling, treasure and reporting functions
• Be a point of contact and coordinate finance functions with the country finance managers across the region.
• Liaise with central functions in Australia on tax and treasury matters
• Stand in for the regional CFO if and when required
• Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
• Develop, maintain, and analyse budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
• Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
• Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
• Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecast.
• Auditing and Controlling
• Interact with company banking and financial partners.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or any related field
• Working experience in a similar role and with an MNC will be a significant advantage
• Familiar with SAP program
• Proficiency in Computer skills e.g. MS Office
• Good command of English language both spoken and written
• Well organized, details oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills, service minded and good team player.
• Deal effectively with complex and sensitive issues.
• Knowledge of methods, practices, and terminology used in accounting, pertinent rules, taxation laws, and policy regarding accounting methods.
• Communicate effectively, clearly, and concisely, both orally and in writing.
