Production Engineer (Supervisor role)
About this position
Production engineers have the responsibility of establishing quality controls and processes. Moreover, it will manage manpower and efficiency of overall. Their objective is to reduce manufacturing mistakes and uphold high-quality standards. In addition, they oversee the allocation of material resources to ensure optimal efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
• To preserve the current process flows, PFMEA, and work instructions.
• To assist the Quality Engineer in upholding the area Control Plans.
• Perform technical and financial analysis’ and specify equipment.
• Engage with employees in the manufacturing cells to impart an awareness of utilizing engineering concepts to address issues on a daily basis.
• Manage manpower in the assembly lines and previewing all efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and capacity increase.
• Contact and negotiate technical solutions with external/Internal suppliers.
• Purchase production equipment & Work proactively with LEAN Tools.
• Assure continuous development of technology- and processes. This also means testing/evaluating of new unknown processes.
• Continuously update knowledge on processes and process equipment.
• Create proposal for investment- and cost budget.
• Ensure implementation of best practices from other LINAK plants.
• Lead or co-working with LAS to Set up operation system for new model (PDHS, D365)

Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Manufacturing) is preferred.
• Perfect English communication in English both verbal and written.
• Strong personality, independent, supportive, and masterful but polite.
• Good communicator and team player and have great drive to take initiative to solve challenges.
• Expertise in technical abilities and the capacity to interpret engineering drawings and drawings are essential.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience from a production environment in an international mass production manufacturing company.
• Being a good team player & a good attitude.
• Open-minded, fast-paced learner, with and Can-do Attitude.
• Have the drive and energy to take initiative and solve challenges.
• Lean Manufacturing experience is preferable.
• Know the manufacturing principles like CI, Lean, TPM, TWI, etc.
• Experiences in SUPERVISOR role is most preferable.
