Team Lead Regional Tender Management APAC
About this position
The Team Lead Regional Tender Management APAC is responsible for providing coaching and development opportunities to the team, monitoring performance, tracking tenders, and ensuring timely submission of proposals. The role also involves participating in post-mortem analysis and leading regional parts of global tenders.
Responsibilities
• Provides continuous coaching, training, and development opportunities for the Regional Tender Management team to enhance their specific knowledge and skills
• Monitors the performance of regional tender management team members and provides regular feedback in performance evaluations. Implements strategies to address any performance gaps or areas for improvement
• Tracks the progress of current and upcoming regional tenders from existing and new customers
• Has ownership for a tender calendar, involving all parties, incl. account owner at appropriate times for preparation of upcoming tenders
• Reviews tender documents to identify and isolate the relevant business requirements according to the scope of work included and summarizes them for involved parties
• Distributes the relevant tender documents to each of the internal stakeholders, highlighting the business requirements
• Obtains strategic guidelines from product management & account owner and facilitates communication with the stakeholders as needed via meetings or clarification calls
• Establishes internal milestones and deadlines for the preparation of the technical and commercial proposals on regional level
• Provides the stakeholders and local countries with workfiles for the submission preparation
• Maintains a tender library with the building blocks for the technical proposal preparation
• Collects the responses prepared by the stakeholders and/or countries to consolidate and build the submission documents
• Completes the final technical and commercial submission documents and hands over to the Account Owner, or uploads into the customers’ sourcing tool
• Participates in post-mortem analysis (win or lose)
• Takes over responsibility and lead for regional parts of global tenders
