About this position

The Commercial Division Manager at Rama3 is responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies to grow the freight and project cargo business, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies for growing the freight and project cargo business.
• Provide buying cost rate from liner & Overseas agents to match competitive prices, including establishing relationships with liners to the highest standards.
• Help staff update rates in the rate center on a regular basis.
• Evaluate and Grade Carriers Twice a year.
• Conduct product knowledge training for the sales team.
• Coordinate with the SVP and sales managers to set yearly targets for sea export, sea import, and trade lane focus.
• Improve team by coaching and training program to ensure team members are fully engaged and enabled to achieved KPI.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences, expanding the network of vendors and market-aligned relationships.
• Provide consultations & advice to staff, along with issue help regarding sales, regulations & cost regarding sea freight.
• Maintain relationships with supplier, freight forwarders, and key clients, ensuring reliable service delivery.
• Oversee procurement for project cargo, ensuring compliance with client and company standards.
• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly Report, monitor and update status to Management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in logistics, Marketing, Management or other related field.
• Direct experience with full spectrum of Commercial in Liner Business, freight forwarder, logistics at least 5 years in manager level.
• Good interpersonal, excellent communication, a strong team-focused, collaborative mindset and presentation skills with analytical skill.
• Good Skills in MS Office.
• Good command of English.
