About this position
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a growth strategy for Thailand including marketing and sales activities for the next 2-3 years
• Continuously analysing market trends and competitors in order to adapt the chosen strategy
• Represent our company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our products and services
• Build the distribution channel through importers
• Support importers and distributors through product and application training of sales staff, active selling at joint end customer events and planning of campaigns
• Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships
• Start and maintain co-operation with multipliers in the Thai market
• Support the Headquarters organisation in relation to local legal requirements and compliance with the Code of Conduct
• Reports regularly to the Export Manager and the Head of Global Sales at the German headquarters
Requirements
• At least 5 years of sales experience in Thailand in the tool or installation industry
• Excellent sales skills in a retail environment and high entrepreneurial drive
• Strong leadership, social and interpersonal skills
• Very distinct Hands-on mentality
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• A positive attitude, innovative, creative and solution orientated
• Adaptable and able to work under pressure in a dynamic business environment
• High level of customer focus
• Able to communicate very well in English
• Experience of working with German head offices and/or family businesses would be an advantage
