About this position

The role of Quality Engineer is to support the Quality Function to ensure that quality system always stays in compliance with Leistritz quality system/requirements and the customer requirements. Ensure that quality of new product and production process were met customer requirement and Leistritz (Thailand) standard.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :Operations
• Perform assigned QA related duties, activities carried out to ensure company meets all required quality standards as per quality manual
• Create and maintain of related company quality documentations, such as quality procedures, work instructions, data cards, form, training profile and etc. required by standard requirement.
• Maintain department targets and company’s quality objective KPIs, analyst data, perform root cause analysis & improvement actions
• Perform, track, and follow up regular internal process & product audits and support quality system & external audits to ensure that work instructions are followed, products meet customer specification, and quality management system conform with AS/EN9100 and other required standards
• Liaison with customers on quality related topic including customer audit. Lead root cause analysis on customer complaint & internal non-conformance and verify the effectiveness to ensure that the problem will be fixed by its root cause & preventive measures are in place
• Quality improvement process by improving process of 8D, Quality built in concept, Line side review (process audit by following work instruction and critical points control) activity.
• Support in-house new product introduction and 1st article (FAIR) package preparation and prepare PPAP package as required by customer or AS13100 requirements
• Create, review & maintain control plan & inspection plan
• Support serial production COC & router review, and associated DSQR activities as assigned by supervisors
• Perform/support actions to promote quality improvement activities such as Built in Quality, 8D report, Kaizen etc.
• Support/maintain 5S standard of Quarantines, MRB, quality office areas
• Work upon supervisor’s assignments or any other job duties as assign.

Collaboration
• Responsible to support operations department in all quality related issues and ensure that quality management system is maintained.
• Responsible for continuous improvement activities such as 5S, Lean and etc. internally within department and cooperation with other departments.

Requirements

Job Qualifications:Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or equivalent work experiences in related field (Preferably in Mechanical / Industrial / Metallurgical).Minimum 5+ year
• experiences in quality field of manufacturing environment preferably in aerospace and/or automotive component manufacturing process and quality control.

Professional Required:
• Knowledge and experience in ISO9001, ISO/TS16949, AS9100 or related quality management system would be an advantage
