About this position

The School Admin is responsible for overseeing the general orderliness of the office, coordinating various departments, and assisting the Admissions team to ensure smooth operations within the school.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and be responsible for the general orderliness in the office, including organizing the workspace and office equipment.
• Carry out procurement activities, such as purchasing teaching materials, office supplies, and other essential items needed for the operation of the school.
• Liaise and coordinate with the accounting department to prepare financial documents, such as invoices, receipts, and budget disbursements.
• Coordinate with the facilities department to maintain and ensure the safety of buildings and premises.
• Coordinate with the media department to prepare public relations materials, teaching resources, and various school activities.
• Coordinate with the IT department to resolve technological issues and support the use of information systems within the school.
• Assist the Admissions team by introducing the school and organizing various activities, providing information, and answering basic questions about the school’s curriculum and services to prospective students and parents.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field such as Business Administration, Management, or other relevant disciplines.
• At least 1 year of work experience in office administration, procurement, or coordinating with various departments.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
• Proficiency in using computer programs such as Microsoft Office and other management systems.
• Basic knowledge of accounting, procurement, or resource management will be an advantage.
• Good command of both written and spoken English to communicate and coordinate with relevant individuals and departments.
• A proactive attitude towards learning and the ability to work under pressure.
• Experience working in a school or educational organization will be considered a plus.
