Process Engineer (Spraying process)
About this position
The Process Engineer (Spraying process) is responsible for developing new methods and technologies, improving existing operations, and ensuring production quality and efficiency in the ceramic manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
• Develop new method, new technology and ensure production are followed.
• Improve continually existing operation for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost saving.
• Improved work processes by supporting and assisting production process to promote and implement improvement ideas, recording issues, and following up problem solving.
• Identify ways to reduce production costs, improve production quality through recommendations (Like new process, equipment justification to improve performance, quality)
• Train staff on new development processes and technology.
• Drive actions for improvement: communicate with the Production Manager, Production Section Heads of other shifts, and support functions to ensure a transparent information flow, collaborate to define improvement areas and action plans.
• Quality Assurance: Work with quality control teams to ensure the final product meets set specifications. Technical Support & trouble shooting
• Ensure that working conditions are fully compliance with Company SHE standards: interfere in production line in case of safety risks and drive improvement of working conditions and ergonomics.
• Provide recommendations and ideas for improving in all processes.
• Facilitate effective communication and enhance working relationship among the division/functions and teams; resolve cross-functional people related issues.
• Follow up new technology development and acquire the knowledge that relevant to area of responsibility.
• Working process compiled with Company SHE standard.
• Take responsibilities, and perform tasks and duties as assigned by the superiors.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree of Industrials Engineering, Mechanical or related field, Ceramic Technology.
• 1-3 years or more years of relevant experiences in Process engineer or relevant experiences in ceramic manufacturing.
• Experiences for setup and define parameter machine and mechanical.
• Experience in Spray Automatic and Robot.
• DOE & Data Analysis Tools: High proficiency in design of experiment, data analytics software such as Minitab.
• ERP Systems: In-depth understanding of enterprise resource planning systems for integrated business process management.
• Critical Thinking: Strong aptitude for evaluating problems and identifying the most effective solutions.
• Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams while being an effective team player.
• Time Management: Proven record of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Change Management: Skills in facilitating change, including implementing new procedures and helping teams adapt to new technologies or methodologies.
• Effective Communication: Exceptional ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
