About this position
This role will be key in supporting the production Planning Manager to identify and develop planning capabilities and strategies, reviewing current planning processes and finding ways to improve and automate them.
Responsibilities
• This role will be key in supporting the production Planning Manager to identify and develop planning capabilities and strategies.
• They will be reviewing current planning processes and finding ways to improve and automate them.
• They will support the team in creating and tracking the performance of factory planning versus customer demands.
• They will be key in developing with the Manager in new ways of working and developing of processes that support factory improvement as well as the use of planning system (D365).
• Plan and control all factory supply demand and lead times.
• Develop and implement factory supply planning strategies to meet the company’s operational and goals.
• Manage factory plan versus inventory levels to minimize excess stock while ensuring product availability.
• Identify process improvements and automations to enhance planning capabilities.
• Plan and control all scheduling activities supporting Manufacturing and Customer.
• Consolidate and analyze data from each department relating to factory supply and customer demand for reporting and issue identification.
• Regularly review planning parameters according to process requirements and updating relevant departments and systems.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Factory planning, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance performance.
• Ensure that workplace and working processes have complied with Company SHE standards.
• To ensure processes and procedures standardization implemented with ISO 9001.
• Lessens the number of non-conformities.
• Continuously support and participate in the quality improvement activities of the company.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any fields.
• At least 3 years of Demand/Supply/Factory planning or relate experience in Supply/Demand Planner field in the manufacturing plant.
• Computer Literate – Advanced Excel skills and the ability to use Outlook and Word. Familiar with ERP, MPS, MRP. Power Query, Power BI, AX and D365 experience is an advantage.
• Good and professional attitude. Proactive, friendly, honest, and patient. Ethical and disciplined. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various teams, areas, and levels of organization.
• Analytical and systematic thinking, knowledge in forecasting and planning. Logical big picture thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyses complex data files and proactively identify issues and implement effective solutions related Supply chain and Planning for manufacturing business would be an advantage.
• Abilities to work under pressure and time constraints.
• Good command of English language.
