VP , Payment and Monetization Strategy
About this position
As the Vice President of Payment and Monetization Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and implementing strategies that enhance our payment solutions and revenue generation across our e-commerce platform. This is an exciting, high-impact role where you'll work directly with cross-functional leaders from Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
Responsibilities
• Shape and implement a data driven comprehensive payment and monetization strategy that aligns with our company's business objectives and growth ambitions.
• Enhance payment solutions across all six markets by exploring new digital payment options, improving transaction efficiencies, and boosting customer satisfaction.
• Partner closely with senior leaders across SEA countries to align goals, adapt strategies to local market needs, and manage partnerships with financial institutions and tech vendors.
• Find & establish value added / strategic partnerships that can support the payment business and supports its monetization objective.
• Launch new payment solutions and monetization channels, from digital wallets and credit-based solutions to loyalty programs and transaction fees.
• Leverage data to assess performance, optimize strategies, and ensure all initiatives drive meaningful financial impact.
Requirements
• 8+ years in payment solutions, fintech, or monetization strategy, ideally within e-commerce or digital platforms.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to craft and execute payment and monetization strategies that align with both global trends and local market dynamics.
• Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and metrics interpretation, including ARPU, CAC, and LTV.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with senior leadership and external partners across the region.
• Some understanding of payment trends, regulatory landscapes, and customer preferences in SEA markets, is a bonus.
