Business Continuity Manager
About this position
The Business Continuity Manager will be responsible for leading the development and execution of business continuity guidelines, processes, and systems to support business innovation and development. They will also establish and maintain a governance structure for strategic planning, risk assessment, disruption scenario identification, and mitigation tracking.
Responsibilities
• Lead the development and execution of business continuity guidelines, processes, and systems to support the business innovation and development, guide Business units on the completion of the BCM documentations
• Establish and maintain a governance structure for strategic planning, risk assessment, disruption scenario identification, and mitigation tracking, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
• Ensure timely escalation and updates of crisis and BCM programs, and support decision making by senior management to assure business continuity is maintained for the payment and financial business.
• Engage BU in managing internal and external thematic audits, covering all BUs and own the results of the thematic BCM audits.
• Act as the primary contact for regulators and industry bodies on business continuity and resilience matters.
• Support on sourcing matters related to the sourcing portfolio, contribute to ensuring a strong alignment with the regional sourcing policy, control standard and framework
• Lead the development and implementation of outsourcing policies, contracting plans, strategies and budgets.
Requirements
• Bachelor degree or above, with at least 8 years of working experience and 5 years in BCM related positions.
• Proven ability in business continuity planning and project management, experience in financial services and Technology industries will be a plus.
• Excellent coordination, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders is a must.
• Experience in E-commerce, Fintech, Payments industries preferred
• Adaptability in multi-cultural settings and willingness to work in a fast changing environment, with passions to learn new things and understand the business more deeply.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills. Chinese speaking will be advantageous but not mandatory as this position requires regular cross function communication with China counterparts
